The Under 10 Wests Boomers Pirates have made it through to the Grand Final. After finishing 4th in the regular season, victories against the 3rd place team (9-7) and 2nd place team (10-0) in the first 2 weeks of the finals mean they face the as yet undefeated Stealers Tigers in the decider. Gala Day - Sunday 22 November 2015
The under 10 Boomers travelled to Wahroonga on Sunday 22 November 2015 competing against 7 other teams for the annual Rick Geersen Cup. The boys topped their group winning all 3 pool games on the back of some wonderful hitting and sharp fielding. This meant they advance to the grand final where they were unfortunately defeated 6-3 in a hotly contested game. The boys showed true grit and determination playing 4 hours of baseball over a 6 hour period and did the Boomers Club proud. All 10 of the players made significant contributions throughout the day. Well done lads on finishing runners up.
