The team manager normally takes care of making sure the players are at the ground and ready for the coach - stuff that happens "off the grass". The team manager plays a vital role in communicating with players and parents on a team.
The manager is the link to the committee and helps communicate to the team roles, responsibilities and opportunities within the club.
